Jon Cruddas MP, the man in charge of Labour policy review, was interviewed by James Purnell during an Institute of Public Policy Research fringe meeting at Labour Party conference in Manchester last week.
In the conversation, which you can see on You Tube, Cruddas argues that Labour has only won elections when the Conservatives were in power when it was able contest the ‘national story’ with emotionally driven policies.
He says that there are three facets to rebuilding Britain: rebuilding the economy, rebuilding society, and rebuilding politics.
