Local campaign group Sheffield for Democracy is hosting one of many public events in MP Paul Blomfield’s annual Big Conversation.
Blomfield, the Labour MP for the Sheffield Central constituency, holds an annual consultation with local people and organisations around the city. This year’s series of events are being held between 9 September and 7 October.
The Big Conversation on Democracy event is on Friday 6 October at the Showroom Cinema. The meeting will discuss “many of the ways in which our democracy is under threat in the current national and international political climate”.

Sheffield for Democracy is an informal group set up by local campaigners. We campaign for greater democracy, an informed populace, citizens rights, a fairer voting system and more accurate representation of the public will in Parliament.
