‘A weekend of people-powered politics, internationalism and solidarity, discussing Labour’s left ideas to change society for the better’ is promised at the 2019 Arise festival in London on 21-22 June.
The event features more than 20 sessions and a vast array of Labour left figures, including shadow chancellor John McDonnell, shadow home secretary Diane Abbott, Scottish Labour Party leader Richard Leonard and Labour MPs Jon Trickett, Cat Smith, Laura Pidcock and Emma Dent Coat, among many others.
Devised last year to ‘build on the vision and energy of Labour’s [2017 election] manifesto’, the festival will include rallies, seminars and workshops, films, social media training, book launches and more.
Tickets range from £9 (unwaged) to £30 (solidarity) with £18 the waged cost of attending all weekend.
