The activists’s network Labour Together is holding an online workshop for party members on how to improve Labour’s political culture on Monday 10 August.
The focus of the session, called ‘Culture Eats Strategy for Breakfast’ will be how to build a better culture in the party; how party HQ can better interact with local parties and events at grassroots level; and how Labour can become more inclusive as it moves past “some of the problems of the last few years”.
“Over the last few years our party culture has deteriorated,” says Labour Together. “Toxic meetings, institutional racism and discrimination, factionalism and bullying have been widespread. We can and must do better.”
The online event will feature a panel discussion on “the cultural changes needed across the party, followed by smaller group discussions looking at how we can work together to start to push this change from the bottom up”.
You can register for a place here.
The first Labour Together workshop on political strategy was held last Monday, with Paul Hilder, CEO of Datapraxis, and Lucy Powell MP.
All workshops are being streamed live on Facebook so you can watch them back here.
