Opportunities & Threats of a Labour Government

The Independent Working Class Education network are holding a pre-election Zoom meeting on Tuesday 25 June to discuss the opportunities and threats of Labour government.
Looking at what a change in government would mean for workplace and community organisers, the discussion will ask:
Will we see an ease in the squeeze on living standards, new employment rights, significant investment in public services and social housing? Or will we see a rise in vicious narratives of division with disappointment at the pace of change leading to a resurgence of the far right?
What can workplace and community organisers do to make use of any opportunities that a new government will bring, and to limit the threats that accompany it?
